Test / Repair Technician |
The Test/ Repair Technician will work in a team environment at our Apple Valley office. The position entails handling, cleaning, testing, diagnosing and repairing assorted electronic assemblies; component identification and component cross referencing.
| Duties and Responsibilites: |
- Tracking assemblies to be tested/ repaired
- Cleaning of assemblies to be test/ repaired
- Mechanical disassembly of products to obtain electronic assemblies to be tested/ repaired
- Generation of test procedures for different assemblies
- Testing of electronic assemblies
- Filing of all necessary documents. Schematics, Fabrication Drawings, etc.
- Generation of test reports
- Ability to make repair or scrap decision
- Identifying and cross referencing components
- Using schematics for testing and repair
- Maintaining a clean and orderly test/ repair area
- Maintaining and ordering test/ repair supplies and tools
- Organizing and storage of replacement components and assemblies
- Working with other team members in adding new assemblies for repair
- Willing to go above and beyond job specific tasks associated with the position to ensure the continual success of the operation
- Any other function management deems necessary to complete tasks at hand

| Skills and Qualifications: |
- 2 years experience in a repair role
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Able to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Must be detail oriented and well organized
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand and sit for an extended period of time
- Professional appearance
